Yoga Studio Assistant/Membership Sales Associates

Job Overview: The Studio Assistant/ Membership Sales Associate promotes and sells memberships to new and existing members and reports directly to the Studio Director. Greets clients and checks them into classes while up selling memberships and wellness sessions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain organized desk
• Responsible for conducting studio tours and rate presentations
• Complete new member paperwork and enter into database
• Greets clients and checks in clients on the Mind body software
• Conduct in-studio interactions, including assisting all new and current students with membership, classes, schedules and overall yoga etiquette.
. Communicates daily with the rest of the Studio Assistants via e-mail about the daily happenings of the studio.
• Establish external relationships/partnerships within the community.
. Responsible for the daily cash-outs
. Makes wellness appointments
. Responsible for selling yoga packages, memberships, retail, and wellness sessions.
. Must attend studio assistant meeting monthly

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

. Must have a general knowledge and interest in yoga, fitness, and wellness
• 2 years sales or related experience
• Strong work ethic and habits including attendance and punctuality
• Customer focused: Serving with respect, compassion and a sense of humor
• Retail knowledge and experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task and function in a fast paced environment.
• Self-starter and team player
